The University of Leeds is hosting its 3rd annual research open day for the public, Be Curious 2018, with the theme “We are international”. This year’s event is designed to celebrate and showcase the ways in which the university’s research is contributing to topical issues of global impact and will represent the diverse multicultural research community here at Leeds.

With free interactive demonstrations, the event will reveal the global reach of research going on at the university, with a range of disciplines exhibiting and engaging the public in fun activities.

The CDRC will be taking part in the event with an activity designed to show how food eating habits across the world can reveal patterns in lifestyle and health, for example, the Mediterranean diet versus the more typically high sugar and high fat diets of the UK and US.
