Data Science Engagement and Employability Conference

Leeds Data Science Society and Leeds Institute for Data Analytics (LIDA) are excited to announce Data SEEC – our first (free) conference for students and professionals, aimed at matching talented students with employers in a unique setting.

Unlike traditional careers events, this event is specifically targeted at the data science/data analytics sector and will provide an exclusive opportunity for students to showcase their data science skills and for representatives from prestigious employers to showcase the data science work which is going on across the city and available relevant employment opportunities.

We hope that the event will facilitate many successful job placements and encourage stronger connections between the University, the society and the vibrant local data science industry.

For industry representatives: 

We are also welcoming applications for presentations from relevant industry representatives from a range of sectors and fields who will have available and appropriate job roles available and are seeking talented graduates with data skills. We'd love to hear more about what you are doing with data and the opportunities within your business for new members of your team.
