Speaker: Alhanof Alolyan, Ph.D. candidate at School of Computing

Reinforcement learning (RL) might serve as an investigative way to explore unexpected and valuable findings in your work. Have you ever considered how simple it is to create your own specific agent?

Bring your laptop to the second hands-on-ML session hosted by the SciML community!
Alhanof Alolyan will give us a 45-minute introduction of what it is and how it performs. Following that and coffee and cake, we'll run our own RL to work on the coding challenges that Alhanof has set for us.

Bio:
My name is Alhanof Alolyan, and I am a Ph.D. candidate at School of Computing, where I am fortunate to be advised by He Wang in the Visualization and Computer Graphics research group.
I am now studying AI-driven solutions to computer-aided design challenges. Where I research methods of improving perception, planning, and assessment processes for designers, with a particular on designs that would manage human movements.
