Turing Research at Leeds

Professor Mark Birkin is Programme Director the Turing’s urban analytics programme which is developing data science and AI focused on the process, structure, interactions and evolution of agents, technology and infrastructure within and between cities.

The aim of the Turing’s health and medical sciences programme is to accelerate the scientific understanding of human disease and improving human health through data-driven innovation in AI and statistical science.

The Turing’s Public Policy Programme is currently researching and developing data science and artificial intelligence in a number of key challenge areas.
