Barbara Woroncow OBE MA FMA

Barbara is the PPI representative co-investigator on the Macmillan-funded CPR for Cancer Outcomes project. Her professional career was spent in the cultural sector, particularly museums. Barbara is a past elected President of the UK Museums Association and was awarded an OBE in 2000 for services to museums. She has undertaken international consultancy and development work for bodies such as UNESCO in Eastern Europe, the Southern Caucasus and Central Asia. Her particular expertise is in change management and governance.

Since 2009 Barbara has acted as a patient representative at the University of Leeds/the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust on a number of research project steering groups dealing with self-management and quality of life issues in the oncology field.
