Abstract: Wearable Haptics have the means to address the immersive needs by stimulating the sense of touch in the form of vibrations, textures, slips, temperatures, pains, forces, and proprioceptive sensations. The use of haptics in arts, science, and many other areas has resulted in changing the way we interact with and control virtual objects. This session will shed light on the recent developments in wearable haptics and their industrial landscape. It will also provide some key insights about the directions XR industries are taking to enhance the capability of wearable haptics.
